Final conference marked end of WAVE period
On 29th of May 2013 the Interreg IVb WAVE project has ended its project period at the Final Conference at Nijenhuis Castle in Heino, the Netherlands. This conference marked the end of five years of close cooperation between project partners from the UK, Germany, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. During these years they focused on preparing for future changes in catchment areas caused by climate change. In their activities the water managing bodies have been working together with many partners and stakeholders, like provinces and communities, inhabitants, companies, nature organizations, recreational organizations and farmers. Many Regional Actions have been taken, as well as Joint Actions. Some key elements of the project:
